Please, a clear procedure to install 8762 on Fedora5

Hi,
i have a dual amd 64 with two NVIDIA 7900XTX. Anyone can give me a clear reference (or a procedure) about how install nvidia 8762 drivers on Fedora 5?

I tried all the possibilities discussed in this forum.

Is it really necessary the patch?

Thank you.

But is it necessary a patch on nvidia driver 8762?? Can i use only the original driver 8762 downloaded from nvidia site?

Thank you.

@ugoerr: you shouldn't need to apply any patches unless you're using a recent pre-release kernel.

It works now!
I have a workstation with two graphics board and X is not capable to choose the primary video device. I removed one of the graphics board and now it works!

Then, this means that SLI under Linux is not yet available?

As mooninite noted, you didn't configure xorg.conf for SLI. Please see the NVIDIA driver README:
