Strange XP error
1 Attachment(s)
Something about an advanced inf installation when I log in and basically it resets some software everytime I log in. WTF?
I can't config or do a scandsik becuase my settings keep resetting.

This is the kind of error I get if I have logged in with my name, installed a whole bunch of software, then logged off and logged back in as "Administrator."

Have you changed your login habits at all lately? Were you using one account then switched? If so, then that's your problem. If not, then I have no idea.

looks like you may have deleted something you shouldn't have, or some uninstallation went bad...have you done any of that lately?

How long after the installation did that start popping out ?

Happened recently. I formatted already :)
I overclocked too much and my system crashed becuase I was going crazy again. Next thing I knew I couldn't load up my settings.

uuuummmmmmmm, yeah, that'll do it...

I still am overclocking but I am going easier this time :D

yea the only time I've seen that error is by doin' what Sat decribed. I think it has something to do w/ errant entries in the registry for things you installed or were in the process of installing.

o and fdisk fixes pretty much any windows problem :D
