nForce forcedeth 1.11 Options?

Hi,

So the forcedeth in nForce Driver package 1.11 replaces the nForce 1.0-0310 driver.

nForce 1.0-0310 nvnet allows the setting of options like TCP hardware offload enabling, and various other TCP options.
How do I do that in forcedeth?

Are there any documentation pages for configuration of forcedeth?

I notice that the archive page for nForce drivers contains only the IA32 versions. The x64 versions are missing.

Thanks in advance!

/sbin/ethtool -K ethX tso on
(replace ethX with your device)
but I am not sure which forcedeth versions allow this

Alternatively, 'modinfo forcedeth' will show all available options.

I'm not sure why you think that x86_64 drivers are missing, as I clearly see them in the 1.11 package.

Thanks,

I mean the web page for the older versions of nForce drivers contain only the IA32 versions.

So, does forcedeth support hardware TCP offload?
And there is no documentation page for forcedeth configuration options?
The 'modinfo forcedeth' does not exactly tell me about the meanings and the proper values.

tso on|off
Specify if tcp segmentation offload is enabled.

root@buffy:~# ethtool -K eth0 tso on
root@buffy:~#

seems to work here, using 2.6.17
