Everything is choppy and slower than before.
 
Hi, I just reinstalled a fresh copy of Ubuntu Edgy on my desktop and
everything went well, but for some reason I am getting slower than
normal video response. Everything is choppy.

This is the 1.0.9629 Nvidia driver on a FX 5500 with AMD 3400 and 2gigs
ram. My refresh rate is set at 60hz right now.

I've been using AIGLX, but it's been slow even while running only metacity.
I'm pretty sure it's the Nvidia driver I'm using. Before, I always used the
latest stable driver, but I guess the only one that works with AIGLX, is
the beta one. Please help!
