Adding one non-nvidia PCI card to system, problem
2 Attachment(s)
I have inserted a PCI graphics adapter to my system so now I have a Geforce4 Ti4200 (agp) and a S3 Virge PCI graphics adapters.
My goal is to use DVI+S-Video on the Geforce and a standard VGA (which is also the only ouput on the PCI-card) with 3 separate X screens under one X server. My problem: It seems like the nvidia driver dont like when theres another non-nvidia adapter in the system. If I use the S3-card as Screen 0 X wont find any matching device sections for the GeFroce card, and if I use one of the 2 outputs from the Geforce as Screen 0 X wont find any matching device sections for the S3 card. Anyone knows if there is some problem when using 2 graphics adapters there one of em is a non-nvidia card? /Kuseman *SOLVED* Very weird but the config only worked when the Screens was defined in a certain way of the devices |
