Grub got me again!
Just installed Red Hat 8 and used Grub since I read that they are going to phase out LiLo in 8.1. Well, Grub did exactly what it's always done!
I've got an MSI nForce1 motherboard...
What's the deal with Grub?
I read somewhere (nforcersHQ, I think) that the issue is something with the way that nforce divides up system memory on startup (vid ram/sys ram)... apparently the problem is with GRUB and not Nvidia...
AND the nforce boards aren;t alone... other products are affected as well...
I would suggest the Phoebe email list... and post the question there... see if someone from Red Hat will have an answer... It is unlikely they will blame this on Nvidia, as it is a GRUB issue...
