Yeah, definitely...I'm surprised/impressed they're able to squeeze so much space out of a red laser-based disc.

I bet your right. It isn't just the storage that is the problem. You'd need a new player regardless, since standard dvd players cannot handle HD content, and dvd standards aren't even close in both video and audio. If it worked in a computer with a standard player, then it might catch on as a new type of medium, but I don't really see it doing much otherwise.

Damn them for not getting this going prior to the Studios investing in BR and HD...GRRR..
