LG SuperSlim 30" HDTV (30FS4D)

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1134703573897

I'm REALLY thinking about pulling the trigger on this and soon. It's the same TV my roommate has out in our apartment living room and I have to say that I'm VERY impressed and pleased with it. The picture is amazing and it's the pefect size for my room.

I'd only be buying this for use in my bedroom (to replace my 27" Apex SDTV) and I'd be viewing it from a maximum distance of 5 feet. It seems about perfect and since the price has come down over $200 since he bought it in May, it's even more tempting to pounce on. I guess I'm still slightly on the fence...I need more time to think about it, but I have a feeling I'm probably going to end up getting it and soon.

The urge is coming from wanting to put my HD-A2 to proper use and that I often find myself wanting to watch an HD DVD but can't because he's using the TV for gaming or watching some program.

The only think that sucks is that it weighs 115lbs. :o

It's a good 5-8" slimmer than my 27" flat tube SDTV, but it's no LCD by any means. :p

my thoughts exactly....

Personally, I'd rather have a VERY VERY VERY VERY slight degredation in quality by getting an LCD as opposed to getting a 120lb monster that breaks every table it lays on. Not to mention CRT's look like ass to begin with.

Thats just me though. :)
