How can i find out how version of kernel i am using??
I want to install nvidia vga drivers, but i dont know what version of kernel-source i need, i install some versions but all wrong... How can i find out which version i need??? System is mandriva 2006, but i done update softvare from net.

Log in as a root and type:
urpmi kernel-source This should fetch the sources for your kernel. |

no, because it is showing me more than one kernel-source - i have internet connection, and i am not sure but maybe it is showing also from ftp servers.

Match the uname -r with urpmi kernel-source, i can't find this any difficulties!
