Re: Help:Unable to load the kernel module 'nvidia.ko'

This problem is caused by the kernel development files shipped with the initial Fedora Core 5 stock kernel, please update to a more recent Fedora Core 5 kernel release; also see http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=72490.

Hello,

i have the same problem with FC 6.
I have a NVIDIA GeForce 6400 Go.
@Zander: I done install steps in your link.

what i wonder about is when i execute command " gcc -v " , it says:
"
Using built-in specs.
Target: i386-redhat-linux
...
...
...
gcc version 4.1.1 20070105 (Red Hat 4.1.1-51)
"
Maybe itś a Problem because FC6 has i686 Architecture.
"
uname -a
Linux noname 2.6.19-1.2895.fc6 #1 SMP Wed Jan 10 18:32:37 EST 2007 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
"

Also i tried to Install via Yum(Extend). But i get this Error:

thank you in advance for any help.
