geforce 6150 igp
The nvidia control panel lists it as having 512 MB ram when there's only 128 MB of frame buffer. is this a problem?

Re: geforce 6150 igp
hmm having another problem that didn't exist before when I used a 7600gs. When watching TV through TVTime I would get intermittent system stutters and the following messages show up in Xorg.0.log
(WW) NVIDIA(0): WAIT (2, 6, 0x8000, 0x00003994, 0x000039a4) (WW) NVIDIA(0): WAIT (0, 6, 0x8000, 0x000039a4, 0x000039a4) (WW) NVIDIA(0): WAIT (2, 6, 0x8000, 0x0000a040, 0x0000a050) (WW) NVIDIA(0): WAIT (0, 6, 0x8000, 0x0000a050, 0x0000a050) (WW) NVIDIA(0): WAIT (2, 6, 0x8000, 0x0000e234, 0x0000e244) (WW) NVIDIA(0): WAIT (0, 6, 0x8000, 0x0000e244, 0x0000e244) overheating? I have beryl enabled; haven't tested with beryl disabled. |

1 Attachment(s)
since it's neigh impossible for me to generate a bug report before or during the momentary freeze, this is a bug report generated as soon following it.
basically the steps to reproduce is 1) load up beryl, running either in nvidia or aiglx with direct or indirect rendering 2) run tvtime. running it maximized causes more frequent stutters than in normal resolution edit: updated log to that obtained with verbose startx. |
Re: geforce 6150 igp
Does this reproduce if you're not using the Composite extension?
Have you verified that you're using the latest motherboard BIOS? |
