I'll have you know...

Jeff Meier will be here in 30 minutes (nana2)

AVS forum members should know him as UMR. Probably the best ISF guy in the US.

So what happened?

Re: I'll have you know...

Was here 5.5 hours, everything is dialed in. I'll scan the before and after reports sometime, my grayscale was way off along with about 40 other things. Yay Sony default service mode config!

Audio was ****ed as well, as suspected. Everything is much tighter/focused etc.

This guy is a genius.

So you're keeping the two 70" SXRDs?

I thought you said a while back that you were going to sell them... And is he in the SD area, or did he make a house call that required him to fly in?

Yep. And no sales of big screens, the only thing I may sell at this point is my 36XS955 tube.

He is from Texas and has been on a SoCal "tour" this month. He tours the whole country practically, yearly. Rates aren't bad, 450 for the TV 200 for the audio.

That's awesome man...so you notice a huge difference?

Out of curiosity...on a DLP set, would ISF calibration reduce or eliminate completely the RBE? My dad's got a 50" Samsung DLP and I literally get headaches and queasy if watching it too long because of the RBE.

What part of Texas? If he is in the DFW area I may have to contact him when I get enough up to get a cali.

EDIT: Maybe I should... I don't know... check the link :\.

I had Eliab from Avical calibrate the rear projection tv I had before, and the difference was night and day.
