Re: 1.0-9755: Kernel oops

What is idag.exe ?

Does this consistently hang?

Re: 1.0-9755: Kernel oops

It's wine app. It works fine with previous releases.

Re: 1.0-9755: Kernel oops

Specifically which application is this? Is this the only application that triggers the Oops?

Please detail how this Oops can be consistently reproduced.

thanks,
Lonni

Re: 1.0-9755: Kernel oops

Not sure it's the same problem - my hardware is quite different from dionua's - but I also haven't been able to get any kind of uptime with any 2.6.20 kernel and the nvidia driver so far. The "BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000012" line rings a bell from the occasions I've actually been able to see the oops.
One point of possibile commonality that i can see is that both the OP and I use xfs. I won't have time to reboot to a 2.6.20 kernel and run the nvidia bug report tool or catch the oops anytime soon, I'm afraid, but I still thought it might be a good idea to just throw in a comment since this might be the bug I've also been hit by.
