Geforce Go 7700 driver problem
Hi,
I have got some problems with my nvidia geforce go 7700 in an Asus G1. First, the card does not seem to be supported, so I used the newest driver 1.0-9755. Operating system is: Ubuntu 7.4 x86 The problem is that my screen starts blinking if the temperature is above 58° (+/-1). Will there be support for this card? And what can I do in the meanwhile? Old drivers (around 1.0-7 and 8) worked, but I don't want grade the driver down... Any ideas what I can do in the meanwhile? Here are the parts of my xorg.conf, which could help: Code:

Tried driver version 9631?

Re: Geforce Go 7700 driver problem
Nope only the 9755 and the 9746. What are the differences?

Re: Geforce Go 7700 driver problem
The drivers are closed source, I presume the differences are minor features and bug fixes. But adding new features or fixing bugs can introduce new, unwanted bugs. Make the best of what you have and can get, good luck.
