GeForce 6200 screen corruption

My GeForce 6200 often come up with screen corruption.
I've google a lot and doesn't found any sound solution..

I've attached a screen shot and my system config as well,
any hints for me to get rid of this annoyance?

I'm not using compiz / xgl stuff.

Distro, Gentoo 2.6.18-gentoo-r6

The following is two screenshot

The first one, please note those 'radiation' stuff around the term.
(Usually the corruption will gone when I switch between different virtual desktop, but it will soon come up again sometimes later)

Thanks very much!

The second one, there is some yellowish vertical line
Same as the first one, switch desktop or scrolling page or do anything to trigger some refresh, the corruption will gone.
