7950GX2 SLI and Fedora Core 6

Hi everyone,

I am a complete newbie to linux and decided to install Fedora 6, the Install went fine but as soon as i get past the GRUB loader the screen goes black :thumbdwn: (I think its goes black while trying to load x Server?), I’m guessing it's some kind of driver issue?

I was just wondering if someone could guide me to the correct drivers I need and how to install them without out the GUI :D

System spec:
Intel X6800
2 X 7950GX2's
EVGA S775
2GB OCZ SLI EPP

Thanks

The only way that the NVIDIA drivers can be installed is without X (the GUI), so I'm not clear why you think there's an alternative.

The driver README documents how to install the driver, along with the sticky posts on this forum.

Do you mean that it is impossible to install fedora linux in graphical mode with 2 graphics cards? I don't see how I can install the nvidia driver if I can not first install fedora with say the nv driver,

Please reply
