New version numbering scheme (100.14.09)

Does anyone know what does the new version numbering scheme means as compared to the old scheme? Does it represent a different code base, or is it a later version of the previous code base?

Hm, I think it was covered before the first 100x beta. Search a bit, you might find that thread.

Thanks, after some searching I found that note, but I am not sure that it answered my question. Is 100.X represent a new code base, or just the next version of the previous code base? My customer will require different level of qualification of our product if it is a new code base. Thanks.

100.14.xx is a different branch of the common driver codebase which has existed since day one. This is the same as when the driver switched from 1.0-87xx to 1.0-9xxx.
