Hi,

Do you know if there is any version of the NVKeystone software available with nvidia driver for linux.

I am using the one for windows, and i would like to use under linux suse 10

Couldn't you use Compiz Fusion to do something similar?

If not, maybe write a plug-in? Or if you can't, suggest it to the developers? Sounds like a neat addition to Compiz Fusion.

The feature requires driver interaction. It seems to basically adjust the sync rates for beamer.

BTW, is it possible to fine tune the pixel clock run-time?
I mean, changing it, for example, within +/- 2% in steps of 0.1% or similar, while the graphic card produces output, without reset.

If you modify the registers directly (for instance using nvclock) the pixelclock can be adjusted (though you might step on the toes of the drivers if it messes with it too). Second you need to adjust more than the pixelclock.

Changing the shape of your desktop doesn't require driver interaction.

You're thinking about a solution that is *way* too difficult to implement.
