No 3D acceleration for GeForce FX Go5600 - ACER Aspire 1705SMi?

I searched the forus and FAQ but did not find answers to this.

Are the new drivers activating 3D acceleration for the GeForce FX Go5600 - ACER Aspire 1705SMi?

Would be nice.
If not, are there plans to make it possible in the future?

If you checked the README for the latest drivers on nvidia's website, you'd see the Go5600 listed as a supported GPU.

I did not specify enough, I see now.
The ACER is a portable PC, running Suse Linux 10.2.
I found nothing about the release to make work the 3D functionaliy.

My mistake: I forgot to mention I'm running Linux Suse 10.2 with this machine.
