Best Fan for HR-03 GTX
Hello im purchasing a HR-03 for my GTX :D
Im in the market for a fan. Something I know **** all about :headexplode: I have to get it off this website though www.ebuyer.com here a few that I have picked out. http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/79894 http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/54150 http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/82246 http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/54151 http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/54151 OR for the same price and in fact a bit less I can get 4x120mm fans (generic name- Antler) OR i can purchase a no name 120mm fan for £2. Any ideas cheers. Much appreciated. :captnkill: |
Re: Best Fan for HR-03 GTX
Depends if you want better cooling or more silence? .... for better cooling you will need a fan with a higher CFM, if it silence your after the you need lower CFM .... i have a 92mm Vantec Thermoflow with a 58.5 CFM .... its not that loud and keeps my card at 48c - 50c idle & 65c max load! .....
If it was me i wouldent choose any of those fans! .... i got my fan from the below shop! http://www.thecoolingshop.com/index.php/cPath/98_1_8 Not knocking ebuyer, i use the store & forums alot(bought most of my system parts from there)and its one of the best(lowest priced)on the net but they dont have the best selection of fans. |

Re: Best Fan for HR-03 GTX
okay the shop iwas buying stuff for sucked ass.
:( So I brought a no name fan labelled "Akasa Amber 120mm fan". Hopefully it wont be to noisy. For performance and quiet. The distinctive amber colour rotor blades are designed with low air impedance, which gives the ultra quiet acoustic experience. Twin ball bearing gives consistent performance and long life. Features: * PaxPower Ultra Quiet Amber Series * Twin Ball bearing for reliability * Precision balanced low air impedance fan blades * Long Life case fan * Includes: * 3 to 4-pin adapter * 4 case screws Product Specifications: * Application PC Case fan * Fan dimension 120 x 120 x 25mm * Fan speed 1400 R.P.M. * Fan airflow 44.8 CFM * Fan air pressure 1.8mm H20 * Fan life expectancy 80000/hrs * Bearing type Twin Ball Bearing * Connector 3-pin with RPM sensor wire * Voltage rating 12V * Noise level 18.0 dB(A) * Product code AK-183-L2B Lol. I hope the P182 se will dull it slightly. Dont trust what the manufactuers say. :o |

Re: Best Fan for HR-03 GTX
after buying the HR-03, Zalman 9700, P182 for a nice quiet pc, I dont think that the delta is the fan for me.
What ever floats your boat though ;) |
Re: Best Fan for HR-03 GTX
I have just purchased the HR-03 plus with the Zalman ZM-F2 92mm Fan.
I plugged the fan into the Aux header below the 1st PCI-e slot as the connection is 3 pin. I can access the fan from the bios and was wandering at what speed % should i have this fan set to ? I haven't overclocked the GPU yet but was hoping to get around 600/1000. As a guideline, what idle and load temp should i be looking at with this sort of overclock? |
