I read somewhere else on the forum that the new issue you describe is a bug in the current version of the drivers. I've gone ahead and installed the 9625 beta drivers and now I only get the top half of the screen in 1080i, as if the image were doubled in height. Things are still flickering like it's interlaced, though.

GRRRRR!

It sure would be nice if this crap got tested before release.
