Thumbs down Re: opengl broken after livna nvidia driver update

Thanks for the replies,
It is getting worse. Now I am at 800X600 like others who have posted. The video card/monitor is not being detected. (I have been reinstalling, adjusting, etc, ...)

Not sure where I am wrt this stuff anymore...

-------------------------------------------
2.6.18-1.2798.fc6 i686
kernel 2.6.18 1.2798.fc6
kernel-headers 2.6.18 1.2798.fc6
kmod-nvidia-legacy 1.0.7184 3.2.6.18_1.2798.fc6
xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-legacy 1.0.7184 2.lvn6
------------------------------------------------

xorg.log complains of composite extension

Just want to get back to working config with fully accelerated opengl, not worried about compiz (but it was nice!!! while it lasted)

You suggested for me to downgrade to 1.0-9626 or 1.0-8776, but shouldn't I be using the legacy drivers for my 4200? If I must, were can I get these drivers?

Is it possible to point me to a resource that will allow me to confirm my installation?
Show me it is correct with the correct drivers in right places and the config file(s) adjusted accordingly?

thanks
