Re: non-deterministic system freezes with 1.0-9625/9626 running compiz
I've ran into a way to reproduce the freeze in deterministic a fashion.
1.) Install and use any of the 1.0-9x.yz drivers
2.) Run compiz (or beryl).
3.) Start OpenOffice.
As soon as e.g. OpenOffice Writer has finished loading and is ready for input the afore mentioned freeze occurs.
First they ignore you...
then they laugh at you...
then they fight you...
then you win!
