Default modprobe freezes on load module nvidia

Hi! I have trouble with use driver.
module i compiled for my system manually

# sh ./ -x
# cd NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9631-pkg1/usr/src/nv
# make module
# make install

then i try load module

root# modprobe nvidia

At this point modprobe not responding on any event include Ctrl-c
From another console i run diagnostic...

bash-3.1$ /sbin/modprobe -V
module-init-tools version 3.2.2

I'm trying to use next drivers:

Kernel configuration:
Character devices --->
<M> /dev/agpgart (AGP Support)
< > NVIDIA nForce/nForce2 chipset support
Graphics support --->
< > Support for frame buffer devices
What i do not correct?
