Default failed to determine PATCHLEVEL!

Ive just setup freespire on this system and I have had it setup before with nvidia drivers.
This one is freespire 1.0.13 vs last round which was 1.0.3
Nvidia driver I'm attempting to install is 9631
I'm using a PNY 7900GS card, A64 3400+, 2GB DDR
Freespire is using kernel 2.6.14-gratis
Nvidia installer runs into problems while trying to compile.
Here is the log:

I am not sure what a patchlevel is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
