Re: Archive for SuSE rpms?
Ok, apparently the situation is different for SLES.
I use SuSE Linux Professional and there the driver and kernel are both offered on the Novell/SuSE server and are always in sync.
But, this also means it is always an old version. So I get the installer from NVIDIA and install that outside the Yast system. Unfortunately that means that whenever I install a new kernel via Yast, I have to re-install the NVIDIA driver after the reboot.
You could do the same thing. I.e. remove the RPM and use the installer. That should always work, with the above limitation/inconvenience.
