Make sure your heatsink is set right. There should not be that much of a differance between cores.
Use Orthos, its great and easy. Just download, install, and it will run both cores without having to mess with it.
Be sure to WATCH your temps while testing. With TAT, I would worry if it gets above 70C. I believe damage starts around 75C-ish.
