I've had the Sony HT-DDW670 for the last 2.5 years and it's been pretty amazing. It's got killer bass and gets LOUD.

It was $200 and I think it was money well spent. Once I get out of my current place, I'm going to look into getting perhaps an Onkyo or Denon receiver and some really nice speakers to complement my HD-A2 and the HDTV I'm going to buy.
