Default GeForce 7300 GT - Just getting started

Hey all

I am having some difficulty figuring out where to start with my new graphics card. Here is some background info:

I am running knoppmyth (a form of Debian), uname -a :

Linux mythtv 2.6.18-chw-13 #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun Dec 3 23:47:01 PST 2006 i686 GNU/Linux

The following is run at rc5 related to nvidia:

S20nvidia-glx
S20nvidia-kernel
S90install-nvidia-debian

Basically I just want to use the TV out functionality of the card. I am wondering if I even need to install the new drivers. I attempted to do an install and it failed (I will attach the install log below). When I do an 'apt-cache search nvidia' I see the following in the list:

nvidia-kernel-2.6.18-chw-13 - NVIDIA binary kernel module for Linux 2.6.18-chw-13

When I try to install this it says its already installed, I am wondering if this is from my failed install of the nvidia drivers.

Sorry for all the questions, I am pretty new to this so any tips would greatly appreciated.
