System Specs:
Athlon64 3200+
SiS Chipset
GeForce 6200 AGP card
Sony Multiscan200sx CRT
Slackware 11.0 (kernel 2.6.17)
NVIDIA Driver 1.0.9746
XOrg 6.9.0

The Problem:
The console screen is normal on initial startup, but once X is started the console goes blank. The monitor is apparently put into sleep mode(power LED goes from green to amber), but I am not sure. I would appreciate any help on this matter.
