Better memory probably wouldn't hurt you if you want a decent overclock on the 680i. You need to keep your RAM at 1/2 your FSB for it to be stable.

The Kingston looks fine to me. I'd say don't worry about ECC/SLI memory; I've yet to hear of any benefits from it. 800mhz ram should be fine. That would get you to 3.6gHz on a 9x multiplier.
