I dont blame you for getting confused by the model names though,hell most people that bought the PLUS model initially thought it was a 680i mobo,it shares the same pcb with the striker extreme and the non plus model .Mine and the first released batch of the P5N32-SLI even has the model name on a white sticker and peeling that off revals the striker extreme name.As you can see they look identical ,only dif is the nb/sb and that the PLUS model uses tantalum capacitors only.

They claim they released the P5N32-E SLI PLUS due to vdrop voltage issues and growing pains with the 680i chipset on the P5N32-SLI but now theyve released bios updates that cures that problem,go figure
