A1 is the new rev for improved quad core support. As I understand it T1 doesn't have the manual and has less cables so it has a reduced price, otherwise it's the same.
BTW who has tried the Evga 680i with all four memory slots populated and did it reduce or limit your CPU FSB overclock? I am thinking about trying an A1 when I go quad core and I'd be using 4 x 1GB
