I tried to follow it.
I cannot do the yum part since I am prohibited from connecting the computer to the internet, and don't have any linux computer attached to the internet. Company will only allow windows.

I followed the redhat link, but am having a real hard time understanding how to tell if parts are 586 vs 686. Which should I have? The rpms rarely say which they are with rpm -qa .
Any other way out of this? I'd like to find the rpm's via web or ftp so I could burn a CD and install them, but I can't find them anywhere.
