Default Re: GeForce 6150(GA-K8N51PVMT-9) 1.0-8178? Failed to initialize the NVIDIA kernel mod

I finally got my network setup (it only took me what ~1-year).
The nge0 driver with Solaris 10 11/06 doesn't work with "pci10de,269" ;NFORCE 430 MCP51 (at lest I couldn't get it to work).

0) Read this:
http://blogs.sun.com/vlad/resource/S...ation-v1_6.pdf

1) Install Studio11
mv opt /export/home/opt
ln -s /export/home/opt opt
./installer

2) Compile and Install nfo driver according to READEME.txt
http://homepage2.nifty.com/mrym3/taiyodo/eng/
nfo-2.4.2.tar.gz
Step 4 is the only one that matters (make install, etc.).

Other drivers can be found on that web page too. So there should now be no reason why the on-board NIC can't be used.

3)
update_drv -a -i '"pci10de,0269"' nfo

emacs /etc/driver_aliases
nfo "pci10de,0269"
becomes
nfo "pci10de,269"

Remove any other reference to pci10de,269
unix% reboot -- -r

4)
unix% sys-unconfig
Select:
IPV6 & DHCP
DNS : comcast.net
Server : 192.168.1.1

5)
echo johnny5 > /etc/hostname.nfo0

echo 192.168.1.3 johnny5.localhost johnny5 > /etc/hosts
echo 192.168.1.1 > /etc.defaultrouter
echo 192.168.1.0 255.255.0 >> /etc/netmasks

touch /etc/dhcp.nfo0

Reboot the normal way.
Test that my machine is alive.
unix% ping johnny5
johnny5 is alive

Check that I can see my router:
unix% ping 192.168.1.1
192.168.1.1 is alive

Now I can use the internet...

I hope I didn't forget anything.

Now onto the Audio setup...(hopefully before 2008).
