All Q6600s are locked. You'll need a motherboard with a high FSB if you want a good overclock on one. A P5B Deluxe or one of the new P5K's based on the P35 chipset will do the trick.

I think eVGA also released a BIOS on their 680i that was supposed to better optimize quad-overclocking, but you don't want to ask me what I think of 680i...
