Remove everything installed including their dependencies (don't be afraid to remove depending kernel images) and just leave "restricted manager" and "xserver-xorg-video-nv".
lil problem there..
I did delete all that stuff.. even kernel images
but then on boot there is no ubuntu to boot
only the memtest can boot now..
how do I get ubuntu back in boot?
