The display related EFI update doesn't fix it with the 100.14.11 driver. Might fix the problem in osx that allowed us to make it work though, havent checked that yet.
How do I install the nv driver also, i couldn't find instructions anywhere on the net, and it's readme file doesnt say much... thanks in advance for the help...
directions for ubuntu/debian:
apt-get install xorg-dev, download the tar, extract it, go into the directory, type ./configure, type make, type sudo make install
then to actually use the new driver instead of the one that ships with ubuntu/debian:
sudo mv nv_drv.so nv_drv.su.backup
ln -s /usr/local/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/nv_drv.so .
then edit your xorg.conf to use the nv driver, and you're set!
