Sony is already betting a fortune on Blu-Ray. They will not under any circumstances confuse their support of it.

As Sony owns 3 major studios, and TV interests, that means no support there.

HD-DVD and Blu-Ray prices are dropping anyway to the point where the average consumer may be enticed.

We don't need even more confusion and FUD to Joe Six-Pack. In the end, he and the 10's of millions like him are going to decide the winner; Not us enthusiasts...
