I played the beta, then a little on the first iteration of the game.
Then a couple of years later I played on a freeshard for a year or 2, was really fun, they kept it pre EA ****up pretty much, with some customizations, acctually alot of customization.
Its a pretty hardcore PVP game cause you loose pretty much everything you carry when you die, not like WOW where you just go res and get back to it (which also has its advantages ofcource)
