And I can't see how this is a good thing for Sony. They're already hurting for money...that ~$900 million is nice, sure, but when they're already bleeding out of every orifice with each PS3 sold adding on the additional costs Toshiba is going to charge them for each Cell processor (and seriously...if you think they won't, you're nuts) is only going to make things worse.
Toshiba'll have their $900 million back in no time.

I'm expecting that if
the PS3 doesn't start breaking even by mid next year that Sony will start to exit the console business, just like Sega has done.
note: let me point out that, that is a big IF.
