On my openSUSE 10.3 I rebuild new kernel 2.6.23.9 with Knoppix's .config file. It's look like work for me. I don't see any freezes or lookups last week. I hope it's has work in future...

PS: Something was wrong in CPU section of default .config file, I think. On my MSI notebook when booting Suse's default kernel without "acpi=off" in kernel command line, system is crashed and lockup. But with new .config system work fine.
