Wow what a difference a new joystick makes! Best buy has the Saitek Aviator on sale for $25(normally $40), so I picked one up to replace my 9 year old MS Sidewinder.

I can't believe I was flying with such a pathetic worn out stick. I probably got a 100% increase in fidelity with the new one. Its amazing what I can do in the F/A-18 now. Not only is the precision amazing, but its got dual throttles, so I assigned one of them to prop pitch.
