Second for midend-highend desktop cards with turbocache the feature is 'useless' (not that useless, it is still useful for transferring data from memory to the gpu which is always done) but it should rarely get used for real purposes. Turbocache is mainly marketed on lowend cards which have small memory busses and not much and fast video memory. For those system memory isn't that slow.
I have 2Gb of system memory and I don't think that this is normal.
Aniway I'm really glad of 169.07, it seems to work really well on my system.
