I bought it on sale at Best buy for $2199 (Retail $3000).
Im not sure if it was an error but on the best buy website it showed $2199 yet when I went to the store in town they had it on display for $2499, Confused I told them what it showed online and they sort of disagreed.. Finally the sales rep called a manager who then confirmed what I saw online and sold it to me at that price
The TV is currently #1 on CNET's top HDTV's list

It has an amazing picture mainly due to the fact it has CRT quality black levels (even in a dark room) which plays a huge role in overall picture quality.
