Most of the newer SSD's are in the millions of writes and those are writes to a single sector and you also have to keep in mind they also employ wear leveling tech so that unused sectors are written to first that way the write wear is kept even across the disc. It would take several years of constants writes for the drive to reach it's write mark. Of course just like MTBF YMMV.
I don't see why they don't incorporate a drive life meter on these things (software based of course) that could provide us with an estimate of its service life remaining.
