Incorrect. A GPU is far better suited for physics calculations than a CPU- even compared to a quad core CPU. If one could have dual 8800s to process graphics, and a single 8800GT or so for the physics... that'd be quite ideal. That'd leave the CPU to deal with AI and background processes.
