Yes, can can have big benefit on chipsets where kernel agp driver doesnt enable SBA or FastWrites, because in nvagp you can simply force it by adding "options nvidia NVreg_EnableAGPSBA=1 NVreg_EnableAGPFW=1 to modprobe.conf", it twice FPS in some games for me. Im using it with beta(damny stable), SBA was causing many xids and hardlocks with driver 100.x.x. series. I have also "install via_agp /bin/true" in /etc/modprobe.conf(you fan find correct modue for your chipset by calling 'lsmod | grep agp'. If you are using ubuntu remember to add options also for kernel mnodule wrappers (like nvidia-new and nvidia-old).

sjs: add "Option "UseEvents" "False" to xorg.conf, its helping me with xids(new beta driver seems to have enabled it by default)
