And? It was his bios fault...

So kicking someone who 'is down' is not kicking someone 'who is down' if that someone most probably screwed to up himself or demands stupid stuff.
This thread is about poor performance on the 8400M GS. It *is* poor and it *is* a driver issue. For a modern video card from nVidia to display such horrible performance without user intervention does indeed mean that it's a driver problem. As a user of said card, I would *never* recommend it to another linux user because they will, rightfully, expect their hardware to work without any fiddling. It's a great card but, when I have to do things like: http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=109744 just to make the performance of the card reasonable, there are driver problems...
