OK just to update: My Gamestop order did ship after all, turns out the 1-day delay in receiving their shipment from the manufacturer, no doubt because of the holiday, caused the "backordered" status to be erroneously displayed (probably same deal for you Capt). I just cancelled my D2D buy, should be getting it in the mail tomorrow.
